Assembler Debugger Tools S/W Tools The CD24x0A DSPs come with a Host interface port on their core designs. You can Run/Stop, Single Step either the programs on the program memory or the instructions fed to this port. Reading and writing data from/to internal register or memories are done utilizing this port, too. Clarkspur offers the CD24x0A DSP EVA board ctl program based on this interface port feature. Assembler is available as a part of this control program.

EVA board ctl programs are available in VB6 based Source Code.

PC based EVA board ctl programs for the CD24x0A DSP cores carry an Assembler sub window that accommodates the full capability for developing application S/Ws. Once an executable program is made, you can come back to the original control program window to download the program you just assembled onto the EVA board. You can set multiple breakpoints on program addresses if needed. You can see and modify the register and/or memory contents directly from the screen, when the EVA board is stopping.

The EVA board is connected to the HOST PC through a USB1.1 cable. Driver S/W included.
